Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m a certified ADHD coach who specialises in supporting perimenopausal and menopausal women who are either late diagnosed ADHD or suspect they may have it.

With a deep understanding of the unique challenges that arise when ADHD intersects with hormonal changes, I offer compassionate, strengths-based, ADHD-specific coaching to help women navigate this often-overlooked stage of life.

Before becoming an ADHD coach, I spent 20 years working as a senior nurse in the NHS, supporting patients with complex, long-term health conditions and continue to practise as a registered nurse in the UK as a qualified adult autism assessor.

My clinical background, combined with my personal journey of receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD, and being a mum to two neurodivergent teenagers, gives me a unique insight into the struggle’s women face—whether they’re seeking assessment, trying to understand their symptoms, or learning to manage life during the perimenopause and menopause.

I trained at the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA), which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC). I chose to train at ADDCA because it is widely recognised as the ‘gold standard’ for ADHD coaching, and providing the highest level of support to my clients is something I value deeply.

My strengths-based coaching is dedicated to supporting you to create sustainable strategies in areas that may feel overwhelming, such as gaining routine and structure, time management, emotional regulation, executive function, and self-advocacy.

When we work together, you will:

• Gain clarity and confidence in how ADHD shows up uniquely in your life
• Understand the contradictions of the ADHD brain and how hormonal changes can influence your symptoms
• Recognise and build on your strengths
• Create practical, tailored strategies to support your day-to-day life
• Learn to treat yourself with greater kindness and self-compassion

I write weekly blog posts on my website and regularly speak on webinars, podcasts, and at in-person events. I also present monthly live webinars for ADHD UK on ADHD and the perimenopause, and I am a member of the British Menopause Society.

I live in North Devon with my husband and children.

What my clients say about me:

Working with Sarah has been such a transformative experience for me. From day one, she’s been such a champion of my strengths, and her confidence in me is contagious. Through our time together, I’ve gained a deep sense of self-trust and the courage to lean into my strengths, my interests, and the dreams I have for myself.

Sarah brings a rich understanding of neurodiversity, paired with so much heart. I can tell she truly cares about me—not just as a client, but as a whole person. She holds such a beautiful, safe container for growth, and shows up with both deep wisdom and genuine warmth.

They say coaching is like being a professional friend, and Sarah embodies this so fully. “Thank you Sarah!“

Working with Sarah West has been truly life changing. Her patient, thoughtful approach helped me not only improve my time management and ability to prioritise myself but also gave me a much-needed boost in confidence. Our sessions were consistently validating—she listened deeply, mirrored my experiences with real understanding, and created a space where I felt seen and heard. Because of her support, I now feel firmer in my place in the world. If you're navigating life with ADHD and looking for someone who truly gets it, I can’t recommend Sarah enough.
